Tattoo Care Instructions
If you are a current client, please take the time to read over the following care instructions to insure the best care for your new tattoo. If you have any questions or concerns about pre or aftercare, feel free to email me directly.

- Avoid any damage to the skin before your appointment.
- Keep the area out of direct sunlight and tanning beds, sun burned or damaged skin cannot be tattooed.
- Keep the area moisturized before your appointment.
- Eat a healthy full meal before our procedure and stay hydrated.
- Get a good nights rest before your appointment.
- Shower and exfoliate the area before our procedure.
- Wear clean, appropriate and accessible clothing to your procedure.
- Please wear or bring clothes to be photographed in.
- Do not do high intensity work outs the day of your procedure.
- Avoid drug and alcohol use the day before and day of your procedure.
- Only bring essential items to your appointment. Ex: water, snacks, headphones.

AVOID FOR 3 WEEKS
- No re-bandaging
- No scratching or picking
- No exposure to direct sunlight or tanning beds
- No exercise or overworking the tattooed area
- No contact with pet hair or other contaminants
- No swimming or submerging tattoo in standing water

STEP 0: REMOVE BANDAGE (Days 1-5)
•Dermal bandage can be left on for up to 5 days.
• All other bandage wraps should not be left on for more than 3 hours unless advised otherwise by your artist.
• You should have received an AFTER CARE KIT
STEP 1: WASH (Days 1-10)
• With clean hands, gently wash tattooed area with warm running water and SOAP provided by your artist.
• Pat dry with a clean paper towel.
• Wash twice a day or as needed.
STEP 2: HEAL (Days 1-10)
• With clean hands, apply a small amount of SALVE provided by your artist.
•Apply SALVE after every wash or as needed until your tattoo begins healing.
STEP 3: MOISTURIZE (Days 10+)
• Once your tattoo begins to heal and is no longer an open wound, it will begin to be dry and itchy. Switch from your SALVE to the CREAM at this stage.
• With clean hands, apply a liberal amount of CREAM provided by your artist.
• Apply CREAM to combat dry or itchiness until fully healed as needed.
• Continue to use CREAM as a general moisturizer to continue to take care of your tattoos forever!
